Why should you hire me to be your doula?
I believe that who you invite into your birth space is crucial to your birth experience. The energy of each member of your team can serve to lift you, give you confidence, and empower you. When you hire me as your doula, you're not just hiring someone who knows different positions and takes pretty pictures. You're hiring an intimate friend who is connected to you and dedicated to your success. From maternity, birth, and beyond, I'm here to hold your hand and guide you as you navigate each flutter, hiccup, late-night feeding, and baby snuggle.
As a mother of four children and a birth worker of 5 years, I know that birth isn't just an experience for you. It's an experience to be shared with your spouse. Your relationship with your husband is the most important relationship in your life, and it is important to me that your birthing experience is an opportunity for the two of you to grow closer to one another. To build upon what you already have and strengthen what is already there. When you work with me, you can trust me to involve your husband and teach him how to best support you. Together, the two of you will bring your baby into this world, starting them off on a sure foundation of trust and unity.
I do not take my responsibility as your doula and a member of your birth team lightly. I am continually educating myself on best practices for birth, comfort measures, and preparation. I have been a professional birth documenter for 5 years and a certified doula for 2. I am certified through ProDoula, attended a Spinning Babies Workshop where I learned about the physiology of birth and how balancing and positioning is crucial for birth, certified in Hypnobabies, and have experience in hospital, birthing center, and home birth settings.
We never know how birth is going to go, but with me, you never have to feel alone. I am here to look you in your eyes and tell you that you are strong. You are capable. You are connected with your baby, your husband, your team, and yourself. Your experience is uniquely you, and it is not filled with fear...

Doula Services: All-inclusive birth doula services: $1,400
This includes one complimentary pre-consultation to see if we are a good fit, 2 prenatal appointments, ongoing prenatal support via phone call, text, e-mail, my list of resources, on call from 38-42 weeks, your birth, 1-2 hours immediate postpartum, and at least one postpartum visit with continued support for 6 weeks postpartum.
