I’m Susan — a Mesa-based photographer, videographer, soccer mom, and mother of five. I’m drawn to real moments, the people experiencing them, and the stories worth remembering.
Before the sidelines
It started with
real strength.
I’ve worked professionally in photography and videography since 2017. Before specializing in sports, I photographed and filmed births — extraordinary moments of strength, vulnerability, determination, and human connection.
That earlier chapter shaped how I see people, and what I look for when I pick up my camera.
Where it began
A girl, a soccer field,
and a camera.
In 2022, I started volunteering as the photographer for my daughter Chelsea’s soccer team. Photographing the games helped me follow the action and gave my nervous energy something productive to do.
Along the way, I discovered how much I loved preserving those moments for the players and their families.
Same heart
Four years later.
Still seeing her.
Four years later, I’m still standing on the sidelines, camera in hand. What began as a way to follow my daughter’s games has become a passion for preserving the moments that matter.
My skills and my passion have grown alongside Chelsea. I see strength and determination, but also personalities, friendships, confidence, and the person behind the jersey.
I want athletes to see their photographs and think, “That’s me.” Powerful. Confident. The real deal.
Beyond the camera
My greatest
role yet.
I’m a wife and mother of five, and family is at the center of my life.
My family is a huge part of why I understand the importance of preserving these moments. The games, the friendships, the growth, and the ordinary days eventually become memories.
